David Rewriting instructions

I wrote instructions that should have clear, simple steps so you don’t confuse the person reading them.
Can you make these various instructions easier to understand?

Pick up an egg, gently hit it against the side of a bowl and empty the contents into a clean bowl.
Get an egg, tap it against a bowl in tell it crack in half and then pour the content into a clean bowl.

Coke+Mentos

I got to watch coke and mentos experiment and write about it
Soda+Mentos
Purpose: What do you want to learn/find out?
What fizzy drink exploded the highest. How and what made it to pop.

Hypothesis: Try to predict the answer to the problem. Another term for hypothesis is ‘educated guess’. This is usually stated like ” If I…(do something) then…(this will occur)
I think the diet coke would explode the highest because people say the diet coke is best to use for coke experiment. The lowest I think that going to fail is the fanta.

Materials: List everything you will need to conduct your experiment.
Fizzy drink and mentos.

Experiment procedure: The fun part! Design a test or procedure to confirm or disprove your hypothesis. Write down each step so that someone else could do the same experiment.
  1. Buy heaps of bottle of fizzy drink and buy heaps of mentos and get a geyser. Or you can just get one for mentos and one fizzy drink.
  2. Get 1 drink, take off the lid, fill the geyser with mentos and then put the geyser on top of the drink bottle.
  3. Pull the string connected to the geyser and there the explosion and do it to each one.

Analysis/Data: Record what happened during the experiment.
I had to watch a video clip because I was not here so I will tell you about what I saw from the video clip. So I was watching a boy. he got heaps of fizzy drink and heaps of mentos of course. He did heaps explosion and it was high and the highest I thought was big red.

Conclusion:Review the data and check to see if your hypothesis was correct.

I thought that the diet coke would be the highest but big red was the highest so I was wrong but the diet coke was close to beating it. Fanta wasn’t the lowest it was one of the highest  and the pepsi was an epic fail.
