Speech

On Friday / speech day  3 people selected from each literacy class  were chosen to say their speech in front of team 5 by the way I was on of those people. The group of people that have been chose had to say their speech at 12 o'clock midday and was held in the team 5 block. It was time for the group of student and me to say our speech. Each of us had to get and say our individual speech. Final it was my turn to say my speech, I was so nervous I was shaking so hard I could not control it but I manage to get thourgh and hopefully I got a good score from the judges. Here my speech to read.

When I listen to music my mind feels relaxed , I feel encouraged , I feel like  I can push pass the limit  and it also cheers me up when I’m down. Greetings to you all My name is David Fatani and I'm  going to  talk to you about  why students should be able to listen to music during class.

The  purpose  of listening to music during class is that it could help relax the brain  and  could  help  you  concentrate and probably tone  down the  volume  in to silence. Encouraging music could be the key to help the student with their learning.

If you listen to music during class it could  probably help you do better with your learning and if I listen to music during class I bet you it could help me do better. Did you know that music makes the brain learn better. The reason why music could help the brain learn better is that it is relaxing and could help student learn easier and better and music help improve student work habits. For an example every friday Mrs Jennings play music after assembly to calm down the student and build them up for the day and when I was in math class I remember when Mr Wisemen play a song about seven time tables and that has help learn the seven times table way more faster.

Sometimes there will be a down side of listening to music because student could complain about the type of song so  for the student who complain  I have a solution and the solution is that the student who complain should be in room by him/herself or put  on headphones on and listen to their own music.the only music that should only be played are appropriate and your teacher should alway know what music you are playing.

So what think about listening to music during class is okay  but don’t listen to negative music. So I think student should listen to music.  The fact is that music help student learn but do you think music will help you learn better.

 Thank you all for listening.
